ジャマイカの音楽プロデューサーがさらに多くの応援歌を録音。
After being struck by an earthquake and tsunami weeks ago, several Jamaican artistes have collaborated in a tribute to Japan song called We Are One Japan.
The song is being produced by Jamaica-born US-based producer John ‘Jon FX’ Crawford, who has done other songs like Shabba Ranks and Akon’s Gun Session, I Wayne’s Book of Life and Gyptian’s I Can Feel Your Pain and Nah Let Go.
We Are One Japan will be led by Gyptian but features other artistes like Alison Hinds, Voicemail, Pressure, Wayne Wonder and Michael Rose. The chorus is being done by a Japanese artiste called Fumibella.
With Japan being a major supporter of Jamaica’s music, Jon FX said he thought it was very important to do a song for the country. When other countries stopped supporting reggae and dancehall music because the sound of the music changed, he said, Japan was always there.
