“Dear Japan, from Phuket” is a video made to give strength to the people in Japan who were devastated by the Northeast Pacific earthquake happened on the 11th of March, 2011.
This is an English translated version of the video.
Dear Japan Project is a volunteer group organized by a group of Japanese and Thai, who visited Phuket for work right after the earthquake.
There, we have received so many warm messages and encouragement from the local people, who once also suffered from a tragic earthquake happened in 2004 at the coast of Sumatra. This had stimulated us to create this video in hope to encourage the people in Japan, as we were from the people in Phuket.

「Dear Japan, from Phuket」は、東北地方太平洋沖地震で被災された全ての日本の方々を応援するメッセージビデオです。我々は2011年3月11日の地震の直後に仕事でタイのプーケット島を訪れました。
そこで、数年前にスマトラ沖地震の津波被害にあわれた多くの方々から力強いポジティブなはげましをいただきました。彼らのメッセージを日本の方々に届けるために日本人とタイ人の有志で結成されたのがDear Japan Projectです。この度の地震で被災された皆様に謹んでお見舞い申し上げます。

タイの首都バンコクで、今回の地震の被災者を支援するためにチャリティーマラソン「ラン・フォー・ジャパン」が開催されました。

日本語字幕：東日本大震災の被災者の皆様に奉げる3月13日の主日ミサ（四旬節の最初の日曜日）の様子をお知らせします。ミサは、メキシコ国チアパス州サン・クリストバル­・デ・ラス・カサス市のサンフランシスコ教会で行われました。53分のミサですが、11分のダイジェストにまとめました。
