タンザニア大使館などより寄せられた救済物資のニュース In response to the Great East Japan Earthquake, representatives of the Embassy of Tanzania in Japan and the Tanzania Community in Japan will visit the Natori City Hall in Miyagi Prefecture to donate Tanzanian instant coffee (600 cans worth 255,000 yen) and canned foods (405 cans worth 100,000 yen) to disaster-stricken people at 2 P.M. on Saturday, April 9.

ハイチの子供たちが折り鶴
昨年の大地震で被災した中米ハイチの子供たちが、東日本大震災の被災地を支援する折り鶴作りに参加している。自分たちの体験から、「大地震後のひどい状況はよく分かる」と日本の被災者に共感し復興を願っている。
お金がなくても、折り紙で鶴を折れば寄付ができる仕組みが作られた。米シアトルのベゾスファミリー財団に送れば、1羽につき2ドル(約170円)を同財団が非政府組織「人道のための建築」(本部・サンフランシスコ)に寄付する。両団体は10万羽を目標に世界の子供たちに折り鶴作りを呼びかけている。

Emperor visits Japan evacuees
