Play For Japan is officially supported by The Japan Society of the UK. All Proceeds of our associated events go directly to the Japan Society Tohoku Earthquake Relief Fund.

Designers for Japan is a loose collective of designers, photographers, art directors and imagemakers from around the world who were spurred by the catastrophe of Friday March 11 to do something, anything to help and to express our love for our friends and colleagues in Japan. So far, it encompasses a set of prints to be sold for charity, an upcoming charity auction and this website. We hope there will be more to come. 今回、震災被害者のための義援金を集める手段の一つとしてリストバンドを作りました。このリストバンドには「OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH JAPAN」というメッセージと僕の名前が入っています。ずばり、そのまま日本及び、日本の人々のために祈っているというメッセージです。このリストバンドの全ての収益はダイレクトに地震、及び津波の被災者の元に届けられることになっています。さらに”Spread Love Through Music”（音楽を通じて愛を広めよう）と書かれたTシャツやポスターも今回作りました。勿論これらから上がった収益も全て被災者の皆さんへの義援金となります。小さな­ことですが、僕達なりにお返しが出来れば。音楽を通じて出来ることがある一方で、実際のお金によって被災した人たちが元の生活を取り戻していくことも重要だと考えています。

If you are into beer and art and live in Ft. Lauderdale do I have an event for you. The FAT Village art district will be holding a weekly art beer garden every Friday starting at 8pm. To get things started off the good folks from Miami and Tokyo Beer Tour will be hosting an fundraiser to help out the people in Japan. It will be held at The Collide Factory this Friday and Saturday, March 25th and 26th starting at 7:00pm. They will have some Japanese beers to enjoy while you are there. A FEW years back LIAM GALLAGHER felt more strongly about his sausage dog Ruby than he did about charity.
But in the last few months he has dramatically changed his tune.
The generous rocker has earned a small fortune for Teenage Cancer Trust by donating proceeds from a specially designed Pretty Green T-shirt.
And now he is putting on a charity gig to raise money for the victims of the disaster in Japan.
Liam and his BEADY EYE bandmates will headline a benefit gig at Brixton Academy on Mother’s Day, Sunday April 3.
The singer has persuaded Modfather PAUL WELLER, GRAHAM COXON and THE CORAL to join the bill.

A beautiful Japanese tradition tells that a wish may be granted in response to someone with the devotion to fold one thousand origami cranes. This project seeks to draw on that ancient healing and show that the emotional blow received can be responded to through the strength of solidarity and human compassion.
Artists have created beautiful designs that can be made into origami cranes. A donation to the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund will allow you to download a design with instructions to guide you in making a crane. We are hoping many thousands of you will fold and then place your crane somewhere prominent so that it might inspire others to also focus their intent and devotion toward those in the grip of this tragedy.
